I still can't figure out the meaning here. Looks like your face is sucked out by some change or transformation. The little circles on your side are definitely good to fill up the image with some other colors so it's not monotonous. Somehow i'd have prefered something red in the middle of the piece because i think (it's my feeling) that the image is separated even if there are the two diagonal 1px lines.
I feel like you're suffering in the lower part, it seems like you're struggling against the deformation. On the upper part, there's no feeling, you are cold and indifferent to the undeniable deformation.
For the background, i can't distinguish anything but you were right to set it to a low opacity to accent the foreground.
The typo is well placed, probably you wanted to separate the two parts so we viewers can make a difference between them.
That's it, the overall feeling is an ice-cold feeling produced by the large use of the white color.
